NuMicro® M2354SJFBE is an Arm® TrustZone® microcontroller based on the Armv8-M architecture and powered by the Arm® Cortex-M23® CPU, designed to enhance IoT security. It is suitable for long-term confidentiality requirements and highly sensitive data protection scenarios. The M2354SJFBE operates at frequencies up to 96 MHz, offers a wide operating voltage range of 1.7V to 3.6V, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The power consumption is 89.3 μA/MHz in LDO mode and 39.6 μA/MHz in DC-DC mode, which effectively extends the device battery life and meets the needs of long-term IoT operation.
For Secure FOTA, M2354SJFBE has built-in dual-bank Flash Memory of up to 1024 KB and 256 KB of SRAM. In terms of security, in addition to supporting XOM (Execute-Only-Memory) to prevent code theft, it also has a built-in encryption and decryption hardware engine and hardware key store to protect against Side-Channel Attack and Fault Injection Attack.
In terms of secure boot mechanism, M2354SJFBE supports the root of trust architecture based on DICE (Device Identifier Composition Engine), which can automatically generate a unique device identity and establish a chain of trust during the boot stage, effectively identifying the firmware version and preventing firmware rollback and tampering attacks. In addition, M2354SJFBE supports the ECDSA P-521 elliptic curve signature algorithm recommended by CNBC 2.0, which provides 256-bit security strength for symmetric encryption and provides protection against quantum transition periods.
M2354SJFBE supports a wide range of peripherals, including 1 set of CAN, 1 set of USB 2.0 full-speed OTG, up to 24 channels of 16-bit PWM output, 8 sets of UART, 4 sets of SPI/I²S, 1 set of Quad-SPI, 3 sets of I²C, and a real-time clock (RTC).
M2354SJFBE also integrates a number of analog components, including two analog comparators, a 16-channel 12-bit ADC, and a 2-channel 12-bit DAC.
For development tool support, Nuvoton provides the NuMaker-M2354KJB development board, as well as the Nu-Link debugger tool. In addition, it also supports popular development environments such as Keil MDK, IAR EWARM, Eclipse IDE with GNU GCC, etc.
M2354SJFBE can support the needs of various application markets, such as:
